Glossy-un-boxing - December

So as it was Christmas we received this beautiful golden box with the phrase 'Mistletoe Kisses' etched on the side. It is so pretty...

ANYWAY - In December we got a a few goodies...

First is the MDM Flow semi-matte lipstick in Vamp. This deep plum colour was perfect for over the festive period. However I don't know how brave I am to wear this outside the house! At £18 it is a little pricey but the wear time was really good on this product so worth the extra money. Never heard of the brand before but great lipstick!

Next is the Essence face luminizer palette which is only £3. It is a very good set to have in your collection the pigment is great and they don't blend away to nothing. With the three different shades there is a colour to suit each makeup look, a more subtle peach to a more golden glow.

The Collection define and perfect eye brow powder is perfect for defining your brows the small applicator helps create the look of actually hairs, and fill in without it looking too heavy. With the low price tag of £4.19 I think collection are a great brand for people on a lower budget as well as people starting to get into makeup also.

To go along with the lipstick you get some Lipcote. Now Lipcote is a clear liquid which goes over blotted lipstick to make it water resistant, stop it feathering and also make it last so much longer. It smells a bit funny and tingles a bit when it is applied but it does the job. it is only £3.99 but prolongs the wear of your lipstick nicely.

Finally is a nail varnish from Revlon in the shade Valentine for the retail price of £6.49. This is a lovely deep red lacquer is perfect for the winter months and to match with the bold plum lip. The wear on this colour is great sent for about a week without chipping.

I have took a few photos of my face with the lipstick and brows so you can get a look at the colours
swatched.
