Soon me, my partner and basically all their family, (on their dad's side at least!) Will be going to Paphos, Cyprus!  Tenerife 2012   Three years a go now, I went on my first ever trip abroad to Tenerife, with my partner and everyone going this time around too! Grandad Ed and Grandma Kath rented a massive villa for everyone, and for a week we stayed in the beautiful villa in the hills! It was a new build and there wasn't really anything to do up where we were, so there was a lot of taxis and one very long walk one day... that was bad!   Anyway, it was amazing! Two nights we all came together, one outside the villa; where we went for a meal and a few drinks, and one night in the villa; with a lot of sangria and chase the ace! Haha! Apart from the end of night and the next day when half of the villa were ill, we all agree it was the best night as a family! Which makes me a little emotional as I had only been with my partner for around 6 months but I was alrea...

My Holiday - Turkey 2013 - Take me back! I really want to apologise for the random-ness of this weeks posts, I normally try to post, Monday, Wednesday and Friday and this week it has been - Tuesday, Thursday and today (Saturday). I know that no one is really that bothered but it is kind of my own schedule and feel bad negating from that.

Life has been quite hectic again recently, I am getting a few extra hours at work, we have had someone staying with us this week and I have been really tired. Normally I go to bed quite late, but recently I have been getting so drained I feel myself wanting to sleep at 9! I also feel like I am getting a cold, which I can do without, thanks! I hate being ill, especially when I am busy. Might have to get some cold and flu tablets and see what happens.

Today I thought I would go for a little more of a relaxed post, as I have been super busy recently! Life is a little crazy at the moment, with working getting busier, we have a house inspection this week and trying to write some new content... is taking it's toll. Work is normally a bit crazy anyway, but I don't feel like I can relax at the minute with trying to keep the house looking perfect. Once the inspection is out of the way, it will be business as usual!

Recently I've had some issues with my skin; in previous posts I've mentioned abandoning face wipes as they made my face really red and quite sore. This is my current skin care routine, but I'm still trying to find the perfect match for my skin. Before we get started, I would say that my skin type is normal to dry, especially around my nose and chin, sometimes creeping onto my forehead.

Hello again, Over Christmas (and January) I didn't post at all, mainly because I have been really busy at work but also because I want my posts to be enjoyable and not the same thing over and over again. So, over the next few weeks and hopefully, months, I am going to try and post a bigger variety of posts. Sorry again! But I'm back on track :) Ps. I currently have five beautiful little guinea pigs, in total I've had seven but two unfortunately passed away. Before I met my partner I used to always be surrounded by animals - dogs, parrots, hamsters, fish, chipmunks... the list goes on.

Recently I went to hobby craft and bought a few little cute things to add lovely homemade touches to my presents.

Well pay day has been and gone, so I have bought a few new products to add to my routine. I've recently got contacts and want my skin to look its best as its going to be a bit more on display. As you might know from one of my previous posts, I am quite liking the Boots Botanics All Bright range. So I bought a few more bits. I bought the All Bright Serum which you apply after cleansing and toning but before your moisturiser morning and night. Serums are very rich so you only need three or four drops on your face avoiding your eyes.  I've found that once it sinks in it makes a skin feel really soft and more hydrated. It is a little oily however because it is so enriched,  you don't need a lot and it soaks in relatively quickly so this doesn't last long.

I love to cook really good food, saving money, being a girlie-girl and looking after my partner and our five beautiful kids (my guinea pigs). I really like experimenting with different flavours but I am a bit of a progressive cook; as in I try kits and sauces then I try to recreate them myself. Also, I try to use rubs or marinading as it is great way of getting flavour without too much effort, it is best to do this overnight. A great place to get inspiration from is the internet, I use  bbc good food  as they have a lot of variations on the same recipe so I often pick and choose different elements to try and get a balance I like. I have a few cookery books, but I find that sometimes they are a bit hit and miss, as in I love Jamie Oliver but I haven't made every single recipe out of his book I have.
