Film Friday - Beauty and the Beast (2017)

A tale as old as time has had a revamp - this live action version of the classic disney animation has hit hard at the box office. To most girls this film will be close to there hearts, Belle was the first Disney Princess that had a bit more substance - she was clever, a bookworm and didn't swoon as soon as she saw Gaston. Now I am not saying the Princesses that came before weren't clever but them attribute were never dwelled on for too long. If you have never seen beauty and the beast here is a brief synopsis -  A young prince, imprisoned in the form of a beast, can be freed only by true love. What may be his only opportunity arrives when he meets Belle, the only human girl to ever visit the castle since it was enchanted. (From IMDB) In the live action version you get to see more of the back story, there are extra songs and a lot more magic. I was in awe. All the enchanted furniture was beautifully edited and just as sassy as the original. I cried numerous times and l...

Film Friday - Pitch Perfect 2

The Bardon Bellas are back, Pitches!     If you don't already know, Pitch Perfect follows the Bardon Bellas, one of the accapella groups residing at Bardon university. Accapella is a type of music where there are no backing instruments, all sound comes from vocals. This glee style film, steps over a few more boundaries and brings it up a level!   Following on shortly after the first instalment, this film has a fantastic start that had me laughing so hard! This film also expands more of the story lines, and brings you closer to each character. After their success in the previous film the Bellas are invited to sing in front of the president. During the performance, Fat Amy takes everyone on a trip down under, which knocks the Bellas off their pedestal.   Losing their way, they fight to keep their girl power alive! After, some hilarious, cringe-worthy and heart warming moments, the film concludes in a unexpected way. With the potential to have a third...

Built by Tadashi as a paramedic of sorts. He responds and activates when someone is hurt. After everything he sees, Hiro decides he wants to attend, he starts coming up with an idea for an upcoming robotics exhibit the college is holding. He comes up with a fantastic idea which catches the attention not only of Mr Callaghan the college principle but Alistair Krei a shady business man. Callaghan warns Hiro about him.
